This is the summary of all the places I've visited and posted in my blog, within and outside the country.
Buda, Philippines : The mountainous terrain of Buda makes it a perfect place to rejuvenate your tired spirit. Since it's a on high elevation, the place is very cool, specially with the early dawn and afternoon fogs.
Bohol, Philippines : The place is famous for Chocolate Hills and Panglao Beach Resort. But what I love the most about it was my first encounter with a Tarsier. :) With their big eyes, they just look so cute. hehe...
Agusan, Philippines: I found their local transportation mode very cool. This motorcycle has at least 7 people in them. :) And that's on a highway! You have to be extra brave to pull this off. :) One day, I am going to explore Agusan Marshland. Hopefully, soon..
Butuan, Philippines - is a small city in Mindanao. We stayed at Almont Inland Hotel during our Philippine Road Trip. (I wrote about this in my September issue.) And Mindanao Road Trip as well (I'll write about this soon..)
Camiguin - seemed like a mystical place to me. It's so beautiful and the tourist spots are very accessible. It's also very cheap. :)

Compostela Valley - is famous for its gold mines. Yes, Mindanao is rich with gold, silver and copper, among other things. It is also famous for its hotsprings and waterfalls. Toyozu Hot Spring resort in Nabunturan, is where we go to if we want to just experience its natural and healing hot/cold waters. While cheap vegetables and other produce, plus the beautiful waterfalls can be found in Maragusan. I went there 6 yrs ago. And I love the place. I just didn't like the road and the steep ridges. So we've never been back there. I hope that the local government repaired the terrible roads by now.. :)
Davao City - is my hometown. It's famous for its peace and order situation. Thanks to our previous mayor, Rodrigo R. Duterte, who cleaned up the city and made it what it is today... Places to go include mountain resorts and beach resorts. We have no typhoon here so you can come anytime. :) I suggest that you read my article about on my September 2011 issue.

Davao Del Norte - What I love the most about it is Banana Beach Resort in Madaum, Tagum City.

Davao Del Sur - We usually stop in Digos City for its Bibingka, on our way to Gen. Santos City. (Incidentally, I'm going to Kapatagan soon. I'll definitely write about that in the near future... )
Davao Oriental - is where I grew up. The place has a special place in my heart because my childhood and formative years were all experienced here. :)
During our East Coast Trip, we visited the following municipalities: Banay-Banay, Lupon, Mati, Tarragona, Manay, Caraga, Baganga, Cateel , Boston, Linging (already a part of Surigao.)
After a beautiful stay at Mangagoy and a visit to Tinuy-an Falls, we went back to Davao passing through Agusan, Monkayo, Nabunturan, Montevista, and Mawab.
